Why isn't the mapping to sub-domain name not working?

  How long does it take after making CNAME changes to have a blog mapped to new address?
  Days after changing CNAME and changing primary domain, blog is still not appearing. I have re-checked CNAME style, checked with web server provider but cannot get blog to reappear.

  Changes made a sub domain, primary link changed, waited FIVE days and the blog is STILL not being picked up at the sub-domain address. Others seem to be having this problem and, still no answer. Help.
