Why isn't the slideshow working?
-
I chose Modularity Lite theme for my blog because it was supposed to have a slideshow of the posted photos at front page, but it’s not working properly. I read and reread instructions, tried different sizes of pitures and no use: the first photo is stuck there. Can you help me to find out what I’m doing wrong?

Please go here and follow the instructions you find on the theme description page http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/modularity-lite/

Thanks for your concern, Timethief. I’ve followed the instructions, the photos are all the same size (and the minimum required). I’ve also deactivated the slideshow and then reactivated it; doubled their sizes and no results. I’ll keep trying…

How did you originally upload the images you have inserted? Via the Add Media tool of the post editor, or via Media > Add New (dashboard sidebar)?
-
I don’t think I identified exactly what is the “post editor”: I use a Portuguese text version and names don’t allways match.
I posted them via “new post”, on top right, beside my name and I chose Photo and then added captions.
On my first post, the space for the slideshow was empty, and I tried so many things till I removed the photo and then pasted it in the text window. It was the sole photo that appears in the slideshow. (I only remembered I did this today.)
Next, I will try to post a Text and then add the Photo. -
The top right “New Post” tool doesn’t work correctly – don’t use it. Create your posts in Posts > Add New (Artigos > Novo artigo), and upload the images from your computer via the Add Media (Adicionar media) button you’ll see on that screen.

Thanks, Justpi. Now it’s perfect. I guess I was on the right way, but you gave me the keys.
