WHY ISN'T THERE A PLUGIN ADD SUPPORT FOR YOU VALUABLE .COM CUSTOMERS?
-
I just spent the last three days trying to find out how to add the social media buttons which I see neatly put on so many of the best websites. And this must be like the 12th or 20th hour of my time that I finally see one little post saying that .com users don’t have this access.
Please explain the rationale for blocking this feature. I paid so much to use your product and services. This is so beyond annoying to me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
You can’t use Plugins here at WordPress.com because it’s an internal rule. Plugins are only a feature supported by WordPress.org.
WordPress.org is what you use to create your self hosted website.
If you are trying to use Plugins, you are going to need to create a WordPress.org site.

You can do this with some of the built in features, there’s no need for plugins.
If you want buttons to your social media sites then you could use a widget to place them in your sidebar or footer. You can also add sharing links to your posts. And you can connect your site to some of the biggest social networks with publicise to notify your followers there each time you publish something new.
