Why menu stays same even after I deleted some of items?

  I have to say this is really weird!

  I am using Andreas04 theme, there were more menu items before, after I switched to Andreas04, I decided to delete/merge some items to make it only one line, but weirdly it stays the same number of menu items even after I deleted some, for example, Most Recent Listing, Products & Services are deleted, why they still show in the menu?

  Did you delete them from the custom menu? Appearance > Custom Menu and remove the pages you do not want to be displayed in it and then click “update menu”.

  Did you delete the pages in question using these instructions? http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/#delete-pages If not then do that.
