Why my 'add an entry' page is not working propertly?

Hi,
When I want to create a new entry, my ‘Add a new entry’ page does not display correctly:
1. I cannot switch to ‘free distraction writing’ mode. I click the buttom and nothing happens.
2. I cannot switch from ‘visual’ to ‘text’ mode – I click and nothing happens.
3. I cannot add multimedia content, or polls, or contact form – I click on those and nothing happens.
4. The word count does not work – it always reads zero.
5. I cannot modify the space between lines of the text I write.I’d be grateful if someone has a look at these issues, they are very annoying and have been going on for some time now.

Sorry for the troubles. I just tried myself, and didn’t see any issues.
Do you see any errors or messages in your browser? It looks like you’re using Firefox. You can view the error logs by hitting ‘ctrl + shift + K’ — a screenshot could help as well: Learn how to make a screenshot.

Thanks for your kind and quick answer.
Yes I use Firefox – I have tried right now switching to distraction free mode, from visual to text, etc but still doesn’t work at all. I don’t get any sort of warning or anything – it just doesn’t work.
i hit Ctrl shift K and this is what i got:ReferenceError: _ is not defined _static:970
ReferenceError: Backbone is not defined _static:1199
TypeError: $(…).geolocationPicker is not a function post.php:777
TypeError: atdCore.setIgnoreStrings is not a function plugin.js:1
ReferenceError: switchEditors is not defined post.php:1
POST http://josefkosta.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.phpWhat’s the meaning of it? And the word count keeps showing 0 no matter the number of words I write.
I would say none of the functions work apart from the ones relating to the font, underlining of words, italizing, etc -

Just to give you further feedback. I get the same problem if I use Chrome and if I try from different computers. I have also realised that if i try to add an entry directly from ‘My blog’, the control panel will appear sometimes, but sometimes not, and if I write up a draft and then I want to start a new entry, I won’t be able to do so as after clicking ‘New entry’ I go back to the draft I wrote (!).
I look forwards to hearing your comments! I’ve been for weeks now unable to publish normally.

I’m sorry for the continued problems you’re experiencing. Can you try a couple things for me?
First, please go to Users > Personal Settings in your blog’s dashboard, and enable HTTPS by checking the box next to “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages.” Be sure to click the Save Changes button when you’re done.
If that doesn’t resolve the issues, please try disabling any add-ons or extension in your browser and let me know if that makes a difference for you.
If neither of these steps solves the problems you mentioned, please let me know and I can continue working on this with you.

Thanks so much for your advice, I have tried now enabling HTTPS and it seems (at least at first glance) it is working well now – I’ll check carefully all functions as soon as I get home and I’ll let you know if there’s any issue, but definitely it looks as if the problem is solved. Thanks a lot!
