Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients:
8 pieces chicken thighs without skin
2 medium onions
6 cloves garlic
2 tbs ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp powdered cloves
1 tsp powdered cinnamon
2 tsp turmeric powder
3 bay leaves
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp cayen powder (optional)
1 tsp salt (to taste)
1 cup fresh yogurt
Method:
Place all the ingredients in a blender flask except chicken, blend till thick paste. Pour on chicken mix and poke chicken thighs with fork. Refrigerate for minimum 10 hours. Bake in the oven 200C for 40 minutes or grill it in charcoal grill. I prefer not to use food colors but if you prefer use a few drops of red food coloring.
