After links are clicked they turn from blue to black. If you do not like that then you will have to purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing to change it.

If you are referring to the redesign of the Admin Dashboard:

The sidebar of my dashboard has turned black too, and I cannot see most of the links, as they are so light that I cannot see them through the dark background. Basically, I cannot access any settings anymore or adjust my design, because I cannot see the links. They are invisible!

Please see the sticky post ate the head of the forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/a-word-on-the-wordpresscom-dashboard-redesign-mp6?replies=1

I am visually challenged and I find the dashboard readability has increased not decreased for me. I haven’t heard of any bloggers stating “the links, as they are so light that I cannot see them through the dark background”. Please post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

We are informed that wordpress is happy with what it has done.
I’ve seen the sticky. My Theme is still stuffed-up.
Not only are my articles showing nothing but a header, but I use a two-column newspaper style for my blog, and now it looks as if the new posts have nothing there but the headers.
and when you scroll through the posts, it looks as if the censor has been at work – there are blanks now ‘cut’ all the way through it, every eight or nine posts.
You think reading a sticky ‘almighty’ announcement is going to make things better? I hope it won’t take a miracle, but this has to be fixed. Nearly 2,000 people use the same ‘Theme’ and who knows how many others have been made a mess of.
The answer, dear Timethief, is no answer.. and that’s insulting.

Dear almity,
Could you explain to your elves that we are not asking for information about the changes you’ve made.
We are giving you information.
The changes don’t work well.
The old dashboard worked well.
What are you going to do to viability levels to not less than they were?

@diodonovan
if you have constructive feedback with specifics or bug reports, you should use the appropriate process for sharing it directly with the developers via the feedback form, rather than posting here where they are not to be found.

My site is not available to the public at the moment (set to private), so I assume that any file name or url I provide would not be accessible. I would need to privately email a screenshot to someone on your staff. Any suggestions for that?

Have you tried clicking the “Screen Options” button at the top right hand corner of your page? By changing settings from two columns to one you may resolve your issue like others have done. -
Also, could you post a screenshot of what the dashboard should look like? I’m wondering if the age of my computer and browser/version is somehow not rendering the colors in the way that your developers intended. Different versions may show the colors differently. The previous colors were basic enough to allow everyone to view them without a problem. I don’t know what they are supposed to look like in the new version, but it certainly is not viewable on my current computer.

The column setting made no difference. The problem is with the sidebar at the left. The background is black, and some of the links are showing up as gray against the black background, which makes it very difficult to view. Even the white links seem to have a very minimal font, which makes those difficult to see as well. It is the same with the bar at the top of the blog, which is also black. The links are very light there too.

I understand that. I’m just trying to explain what is going on, in case others have the same issue.

Hello All,
Thank you very much for your help.!
Finally I understood what happened. It is a redesign WordPress action : http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/06/17/beautiful-makeover/
Personally I do not like black but I hope after “I’ve given it a spin around the block, I’ll like it as much as WordPress designers does!
