Why new WordPress malicious ads? Redirects, intercepted by Norton

  The last week or two my WordPress blog has been suffering from malicious ads, which are attempting to redirect blog viewers to suspicious sites which are being intercepted by my Norton anti-virus software. This can occur randomly while scrolling through the page.

  What’s up WordPress, why the switch from benign ads to malicious?
