Why no Freshly Pressed or Featured Blog updates?

  Why is Freshly Pressed not being updated, nor the Featured Blogs? This is an important way for us to connect with people and it seems odd that no explanations are given in your own blog posts.

  The WordPress.com staff scours the tag pages looking for well-written, engaging, unique and/or timely blog posts. We try to pick all new blogs each day, but sometimes we will feature a blog that’s previously been on Freshly Pressed.

  My question was about why for a number of weeks, the page wasn’t refreshed with new blogs.
