Why no one besides my friends visit my online forum?

  Dear all,
  I have an 8 days old forum, which is about helping people(mostly entrepreneurs) who are looking for partners. In the 8 days, only some of my friends went to my forum and created some contents. But I don’t have any outside users signed up. It is kind of frustrating me. Does it mean that I should give it up? What else should I do? I have already done a lot of social media marketing.   It seems your site is hosted in Wix, I suggest to a least try WordPress first :) and advice not to give up yet, you site is too young and you might need to spread the word out and find your targeted viewers.   I’m not sure where you live, but there are a bunch of Meetups in Southern California about this topic. In my experience, Meetup.com is better for stuff like this.
