why no sidebar?

  Alright I created sidebars in widgets but theres nothing on homepage except menu and my stuff. Where is sidebar?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your blog is private and we cannot provide accurate answer because we cannot see it or even know which theme you are using. When we install a new theme what displays is a default sidebar. The default display is not comprised of actual widgets. As soon as we go here > Appearance > Widgets and select and install the widgets we choose we override the default display. When you tell us which theme you use we can provide more information as some themes are not coded to display sidebars on every page in the blog. Others have optional sidebar and footer area widget placements.

  ive made site public and changed theme from Titan to Fusion and readded sidebar widgets – open dashboard and still no sign?

  I think the detail of this geeky stuff is lost one me.
  I bascially want a WordPress blog page to enable me to use its book self-publishing tool.
  All I need is a basic home page explaining about me and the the ability to upload chapters and list them on the right hand size of the page. At this stage not for public consumption. What’s the easiest way to do this as Im getting baffled.

  I see that you do have widgets in your sidebar now and assume that you have resolved this issue.
