Why Only 100 Tags Max On Tag Cloud Block?

    I’m sorry for posting so much in the forum this week, but I have questions lol… and don’t like using chat since these topics I start get saved in my forum profile so I can refer to them later.

    Anyway, I’m curious why the Tag Cloud block is limited to only 100 tags max? Can I suggest getting a fix on that so that it can show all tags?

    Hi there! The Tag Cloud block comes from the WordPress software over at WordPress.org originally; I’ve been having a look if I can find any particular information but haven’t found anything definitive. It’s possible it was set at that limit to prevent a site from suffering from degraded performance, which could possibly happen if for example the tag cloud were added to a template or widget area where it would load on every page, and had many tags to fetch.
