Why only a picture from my post shows up on Topics page?

On the Topics page under Humor, why do some blog snippits include an image of the first page of the post while others only include an image with no text//Title? How can I make sure my posts show up on that page with text and not just an image? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We bloggers cannot control this. Staff and the algoritm they use makes the selections and we bloggers have no input to what’s displayed at all.
