why only few themes?

  Hi folks, Im new here. just found out that you cant install themes you find on the web (free themes of course), why so? and is there a way you could do that? i mean why would there be free wordpress themes if you cant install them? is that for premium accounts???

  Hi! Custom WordPress themes are for self-hosted WordPress.org blogs.

  Just to clear up any any confusion, WordPress.org and WordPress.com are separate. You can find more information about this at:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  We have over 90 themes for WordPress.com and are always working on adding more so you can have more choices.

  1. There is no ‘www” in any wordpress.COM URLs at all ever.
  2. Your motivation for posting here appears to be to advertise for specific hosting services and as this is a technical support forum that’s NOT allowed, and amounts to spamming.
