why our header disappeared?

  Our header disappeared like 3 weeks ago. What happened?
  I just put a provisional one, i’m not able to find the ‘original’…

  Your header appears to be just fine.

  Would you please try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache?

  The one you see is a provisional, similar to the one that got deleted.
  I didn’t see the one that disappeared again, at first I tought it was something temporal or related to the cookies; but days later the other members of the blog started to ask me “what happened to the header?” I realize then it really went away.

  Is like someone would have deleted it by mistake. But I guess it wasn’t any of the members of the blog, because they would have told me so.

  1.- Is there a way to figure out who was; what happened?

  I’m not able to find the original image in my computer…

  2.- Is there a way to recover the original image from WordPress.

  The logs seem to indicate that the header image was deleted by you, 16 hours ago. I’m afraid that when an images is deleted, it’s permanent, sorry.

  Yesterday I was triying to upload a new one. I uploaded 3 images in total, but I’m still able to see them and choose them; which didn’t happened when the header disappeared like 3 or 2 weeks ago (It was like it never were a header before on the blog)

  Can the logs be checked long ago? The blog spend days with no header whatsoever.

  this represents a problem because:
  a) I’m not able to find the original image in my computer
  b) I don’t want this to happen again, and have no idea what happened

  I’m definitely seeing a few header images deleted here.

  About how far back do you think this happened?

  Since 05 august, Im pretty sure it was disappeared already.
  Could have happened a week prior to that date.

  There were quite a few comments and posts deleted around that time period, but no header images.

  Unfortunately, I can’t really say what happened here. I hope it was just a temporary glitch.
