Why pages and not all posts?
-
I am a new at this “blog” stuff and am sure to find a relatively easy answer to my question. But, why is there an option to create a “page” that people cannot access, vs. having a “post’ that folks CAN see?
Then, how do I get my pages turned into “posts?”
Thanks…

Posts and pages are written from two different places on the dashboard. Posts by clicking on “posts” in the left-hand navigation section and then clicking on “add new”, and pages by clicking on “pages” in the left-hand navigation and clicking on “add new”.
To turn pages into posts, what you will have to do is open the page for edit, copy the stuff out of the page editor and then paste it into a new post. If you want them to appear in a certain place in your other posts, you can edit the time by clicking on the “edit” link to the left of “published in the “publish” pane at the right of the text area. After you get them transferred over, you can then delete the pages by going to pages > edit from the left-hand navigation.
