Why paying money for posting video or mp3 files?

  I can’t see the reason to pay for uploading mp3 and video files. If you cannot share your videos and music, the blog is partially useless.

  I find it a big drawback of wordpress blogs and a reason not to use them.

  Does somebody think the same?

  You can put mp3 and video files up, wordpress offers many options for this that you can find by searching the forums and FAQ. To upload them, and to keep them in a space on the internet, you have to pay, which is the same with many file sharing places. There is a limit to what you can have for free.

  You can put mp3s and videos in your posts without having to host the media files at WordPress.com. For example, upload the video to youtube and use the youtube shortcode to include it in your post.
