why pop up advertising?

I am paying an annual fee for my site and now I’m getting annoying pop up advertising on my site. How can I get rid of this please?

Hi there. The ads WordPress.com shows on our sites are never pop-ups, and you’ll NEVER see them on your own site, even if you don’t have any upgrades. They only ever appear directly underneath a post and are usually only visible to logged-out visitors. I don’t see any ads at all on your site, pop-up or otherwise.
These ads are more likely caused by some addware on your computer. Please check your browser extensions for any unknown add-ons or toolbars that might have been installed along with another program without you knowing it. If you’re unsure, disable all add-ons and then enable them one by one, checking at which point the pop-ups appear to help you narrow down which extension is doing this.
Also scan your computer with a malware-removal tool like Malwarebytes (you can download and use it for free) to check if a program like that has been installed to your hard drive itself.

Thank you. I seem to have isolated the problem. It came with a Flash/Java add on. Appreciate your help.
