Why social media widget will not link to my linked in account?

  social media widget will not link to my linked in account. Facebook and instagram work, but not the linkedin. It opens a linked in error page that says an exact match cannot be found

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  Try this:

  Go here: https://www.linkedin.com/profile/public-profile-settings?trk=prof-edit-edit-public_profile

  On the right side, towards the top you should see a header that says “Your Public Profile URL”

  Type something in there, like “vanessaweesner” (without the quotes)

  Then, in your WordPress.com dashboard, go to your social media icons widget in Appearance > Customize and put “vanessaweesner” (without the quotes).

  Save & Publish

  Profit =]
