Why sukutsuikasti.com "can't be found" on my mobile devices?
-
Hi,
I upgraded my blog from sinedebiyatro.wordpress.com to sukutsuikasti.com but when I try to enter my website, Safari browser says “Oops! That page can’t be found”. And it seems the same thing occurs with Explorer. However when I try to reach a content via a link, there is no problem. So is it because I forgot to add “www.” to my website adress at the time of upgrade? And how can I resolve this problem. Because it seems really serious to me!
Thanks and best,

Hi Soner,
So is it because I forgot to add “www.” to my website adress at the time of upgrade?
On WordPress.com we use the domain name without “www” so that you can setup sub-domains if necessary. Within the domain’s DNS settings, it’s configured that if someone happens to type in http://www.sukutsuikasti.com instead of sukutsuikasti.com, the page will redirect to your front page.
However when I try to reach a content via a link, there is no problem.
If you can reach the site at all, then the content is being served correctly. It sounds like your mobile browser has a cached version of the front page from when the DNS had not fully propagated.
I’ve only been able to reach your site correctly on mobile thusfar:
As a first step could you please clear the cache and cookies for your mobile browser?

Then re-attempt visiting http://sukutsuikasti.com/ directly and let me know if it works.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your quick reply. Actually I’ve though about that, and although I’ve deleted caches, I have had to delete all history too. So, now it works! I’m really happy about your help.
Thanks and best,
Soner
