Why the extra click to log off?

    Hello!

I’m trying to figure out why WP would introduce a feature that requires an extra click to log off one’s account. It’s pretty annoying so it would be great if you removed that but I’d really actually like to know the logic behind it.

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t have a clue what you are referring to. It takes me 1 click to log out from my free hosted wordpress.com blogs just as it has always done. Please post an active link starting with http:// for the blog in question. Please also explain exactly what you are referring to. e

    ~~timethief:

I use Firefox 4 and I have to click on “Howdy, (my name)” in order to see the “Log Out” option. Before, it used to be a direct link next to “Howdy”.

I think I found a workaround that might be suitable for fans of “one click log-out”. It’s in the grey admin bar on top!

Hover the mouse pointer over “My Account” and then click on “Log Out”.

    Yes, that’s what I do. :)
