kokkieh, I appreciate the update that it’s working again. However, not completely. It doesn’t put the title in like it did before. I know, I know beggars can’t be choosy but when you said it was fixed I thought you meant completely. Well, I am happy with the link being put in automatically. I will really be happy when both the link and title go in automatically. Thanks for the update.

I did create a new thread only because the other thread had been closed by kokkieh and he said if there were anymore questions to start a new thread. So I had one more question I wanted to ask and yes I checked this out. I have the Press this bookmarklet button installed but most of the time I have to put both link and the title in manually. Now my questions: How can the link and the title go in automatically like it did before? Is this possible?

That’s fine. It’s probably a good idea to link to a thread in a situation like that so folks have some context.
Did you already remove and reinstall your Press This bookmarklet?

So far still have to put the title in. Link seems to go in most of the time. Hope it stays that way.

You can uninstall it by removing the bookmark. If you can’t see how to do that, try right-clicking on it to see if there’s an option in the menu.

Yes.
Then, to install it again, go to the page I sent a link to earlier, and just drag the button back up into your bookmarks bar.

I did. then dragged it back up and tested it but still have to put in the title.Thanks for all you’ve done.

I have tried the button on a few posts. I’m finding it puts the title and link in 50% of the time. Actually it’s probably more than 50% but that is just an estimated amount.

Thanks, please continue to watch this as you go through your normal routines. It’s possible you’re pressing posts that don’t have titles (like asides). See if you can determine a pattern for which posts get titles and which ones don’t.

So far it seems the WordPress button on the side or at the bottom has the title and link but when I use the Press This button I installed in my bookmarks bar it only has the link. Like I said before that is so far but will keep an eye out if it changes.

Are you saying reblog button works but Press This link does not, or that the Press This link works still 50% of the time?
