Why there are big advertisments in my blog?

WordPress is showing big advertisements in every post of my blog since last week. When I chose this tool to make my blog, in the conditions I read: “In order to provide this service for free, in occasion we can show Google text ads on your blog, but only very rarely” But these ads are not google text ads. They are big photos about games and now it’s a problem for us because we don’t want people make conections between us and games.
I know that sometimes it’s necesary to have ads to support wordpress, that’s logical. But why big photos??? and about games?? Most of them are bigger than our photos.
When I read others blogs (friends, brothers, etc.) they don’t have ads. That’s not fair. Why us?

Note: To support the service (and keep free features free), we sometimes run advertisements. We try hard to only run them in limited places. If you would like to completely eliminate ads from appearing on your blog, we offer the No-Ads Upgrade.
The above is also what shows on the “free features” page.
From the Terms of Service:
9. Advertisements. Automattic reserves the right to display advertisements on your blog unless you have purchased an Ad-free Upgrade or a VIP Services account.

If you have a complaint about a particular ad, I suggest you bring it to the attention of staff:

I’m from Spain and when I created my blog the conditions were:
“Publicidad:Para poder brindar este servicio gratuitamente, en ciertas ocasiones podemos mostrar anuncios de texto de Google en tu blog, pero sólo muy raramente”
and there is a big diference between google text ads and a Big photo of a Casino.
Anyway, It’s clear your answers. We will study what to do.

Staff really does need to update the information about ads, as for a while now they show different types of ads and not just Google text ads.
Just so you know, there is also an annually renewable upgrade to remove all ads from your site. You can read about it here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/no-ads/
