Please read this entry so you are clear on the differences between pages and posts.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/If you need Pages for static content that rarely changes see here for how to create them > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page
If you want to disable infinite scroll you can do that. See here > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/06/12/to-infinity-and-beyond/

You can disable infinite scroll and regain control over how many posts display on the front page of your blog. I answered you here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/why-there-is-no-pages-1?replies=2#post-916234 ………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Tepe68 wrote: My Infinite Scroll is disabled… my problem is load new posts..

I thought your problem was that you wanted Pages instead of Posts.
Please state clearly and concisely what is the exact problem you’re having right now. If posts are missing, are they on your Dashboard under Drafts? Are they under Pages instead? If they are Pages, have you put the Pages widget in your sidebar?
-
DA I want both…. i do not want all off my posts in front and only one page … too much bytes i guess.. when i cannot see all off my posts clicking load more posts over and over again .. too many pictures in one page ? …… not much text.. large wallpapers mostly ( allmost 3 gigabytes of them ) :) :( ……….. no posts missing…….. pages widget did not do nothing ( useless )… i tried ..

I think you’d better slow down. Read all the links above.
It sounds like infinite scroll is still working on your blog, you’re uploading files too big and you’re going to run out of space soon, and you still don’t know what posts are.

Reading reads _> To infinity and beyond
We’ve disabled this option for you since you have footer widgets in Appearance → Widgets.—-…………………………………………………………………………………………………. here is one post for you –> http://tepe68.wordpress.com/2012/05/03/bridgit-mendler/ …… I can borrow space from my other blogs… so no space shortage :)

Your posts take too long to load because the number of posts per page is too large. Go to Settings > Reading > “Blog pages show at most [n] posts”, set a very low number, click Save Changes.
They also take too long to load because you’ve been uploading and inserting huge files: there’s no point uploading/inserting 4000px wide images.

25 posts per page has worked well for me in past … i know how to adjust my post number PB JA …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..Justpi says: They also take too long to load because you’ve been uploading and inserting huge files: there’s no point uploading/inserting 4000px wide images…………. This looks like chat to me.. more than forum…. Here is my Messenger address if u want to chat –> (email visible only to moderators and staff) :):):)

Love it when someone asks for advice but doesn’t want to listen to it…
1) “25 posts per page has worked well for me in past”
Past had no infinite scrolling and Load More Posts button, genius.2) “Tepe68 says: that is your opinion…”
Do you know many users with 4000px wide screens, genius?3) To disable the Load More Posts button and bring back the Older Posts link you need the Custom Design upgrade.

I listen
1) …. What 1 post per page then :) ?
2) …. My brother noticed difference that and lower px…… And my wallpapers not only wallpapers… HQ pictures too.. u can cut them as u want :)
3) ….Where hell is that ? :) -
-
1) I already answered that: “set a very low number”. Low number means a few.
2) “u can cut them as u want”. That makes sense, but it applies to a minority of users. The average user who doesn’t know what’s going on with images and browsers will use one of your images as is, and then their blog will take ages to load. Your Stephen Lang image, for instance, is 9MB. That’s an absolute no no: images must be as light as possible and optimized for the web.
3) Dashboard sidebar > Store.
Coding here:

i am not going to do what photobucket does… in free account pictures are down sized in time from about megabyte to few hundred kilobytes …. u can see the difference … weird short lines appear in pictures or something like that :) ……. here is my solution… i only wish there was alphabetical order list widget –> http://tepe68.wordpress.com/
-
Now u are not listening justbi…. i already turned off infinite scrolling… long time ago…. it does not matter how small my pictures are.. if there is still 3 gigabytes of them… scrolling problem remains .. :)
-
Yes, it DOES matter how small your pictures are. You can keep posting as often as you want here, but reality will not change.
-
Why don’t u Raincoaster post 3 gigabytes of small pictures ( as large thumbs as i do.. if u can call them thumbs :) ) and see if u can see all of them if there is only one page……………………………………………………………………….. http://tepe68.wordpress.com/2012/06/21/do-not-click-more-posts/
