  I was charged approximately 80 Euros today and I don’t know why!?

  Hi there,

  I don’t see any charges on the account you’re contacting us from. Can you please check with the following tool if those charges were made from WordPress.com?

  Why was I charged?

  I don’t want to disclose my full card details including my 3 letter security code on any link. Is there any other way?

  While I understand being hesitant about sharing personal information on the internet, there is no danger in using the wpchrg.wordpress.com system. This specific sort of situation is exactly what it was designed for.

  Hi!

  OK, I have just used the wpchrg.wordpress.com system and no charges can be found.

  Any other ideas on how I can find this charge that CAN be found in my bank account?

  Hi –

  If the charge did come from WordPress.com it would be found in the Why Was I Charged page. In addition, we send out an emailed receipt with every single transaction – in that notification the site connected to the charge would be listed.

  If you can find that email, and give us the site, we can find the correct account and the errant charge.

  I’m not certain this charge has occurred at WordPress.com though.
