Why was I charged for the free one-year plan?

    I signed up for the personal plan that reportedly offered a free first year yet I was charged the full USD48. Please advise on this.

    Only the domain is free for the first year when you buy a paid plan. So you still have to pay for the plan itself.

    @bloodwinked As mentioned by @staartmees, the annual Personal plan includes a complimentary domain registration for the first year. This is one of the advantages you’ll receive with the plan.
