Why was "Media" removed from drop-down menu?

    Used to be I’d open up my site’s home-page and could hover over “My Site” to access the media library quickly and efficiently. For the last few months, I’ve had to click on something else (like My Posts) to get access to the full menu, and now, thanks to this new interface I never asked for, agreed to, or wanted, I can’t even do that. I have to actually go into my admin page to access my media library.

    If this sounds trite, you try having a 50kbs (if you’re lucky) internet connection. The fewer pages I have to load, the better. It makes no sense that the option was removed, seemingly arbitrarily, from the main drop-down menu.
