Why was my blog deactivated?
-
I’ve been running my tech blog for about three months now, and my blog was shut down yesterday for apparently violating the following item on the Terms of Service:
the Content is not spam, is not machine- or randomly-generated, and does not contain unethical or unwanted commercial content designed to drive traffic to third party sites or boost the search engine rankings of third party sites, or to further unlawful acts (such as phishing) or mislead recipients as to the source of the material (such as spoofing);
Yes, I do occasionally write something that’s on other blogs as well (given the nature of tech news blog, it’s hard not to do so), but I always try to add original informations and opinions to my posts. I also avoid putting any ads on the site so it’s hard for me to see how my blog is classified as a “scraper”/”machine generated” blog.
Since my blog have been shut down for a bit, I’ll link to my blog on blogger (which will serve my blog as its temporary home), but I’ll really like to have my blog back. WordPress’s design and templates are hard to match…
