Why was my blog published 12 hours ago?

  Hi there sorry to be a nuisance but I’ve been writing a blog on a weekly basis for the past 2 1/2 years and have incurred the following problem twice.
  I write my blog as usual and press the publish button and get no response. My blog can’t be found in the categories that I tag it in, I get no response from my followers and no hits (all very unusual). The post has definitely been published but as I said no response. When I go into my dashboard it tells me my post was published 12 hours ago!! (Instead of 20 minutes ago). I could have of course made the mistake of pressing the “publish” button the night before when scripting my post but surely then I would have had to press the “Edit” or “Update” button and not the “publish” button when posting.
  As I said it has happened once before and both posts have gone into “Nirvana”, I presume that my followers have not received notification of the post either.

  Hi there,

  Our systems were recently going through an update. If you were posting during that time you may have experienced exactly the behavior which you are describing, where your post was able to be published but the time might have been off.

  You can correct the time by going to Posts >> Click on your post, and on the right side of the screen adjust the date/time of the post. Alternatively, if you’d like to ensure that your followers were notified of the post, you could repost the contents of it and delete your current one.
