Why was my post deleted from the “off topic” section?

I posted a promotional piece on the board of the “off topic” section entitled “I get paid to get naked. A blogger named the Raincoaster replied to the thread claiming that I shouldn’t be posting on wordpress. I replied, “it’s not illegal, why do you have an issue with it?” That was about 10 minutes ago. I went back to the off topic section and my post has now disappeared. Can you explain to me why this has happened? Also if my legal job is so offensive, why are some of Raincoaster’s posts on his/her blog permitted to remain there? I’m sure there are many people who would take offense to some of his/her post which tend to be of a religious/racial nature.

    Regards,

    Hello there,
WordPress.COM does not promote blogs with legal adult content and you cannot use the forums for that purpose. Please see here for a detailed article on the subject > Blog Promotion: Legal Adult Content Blogs

https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/memoirsofanimperfectstripper is a list of all your posts in the forums.

You can find it by clicking on the word “member” under your name (and I think that there might be a pun there) or by clicking the link next to “Welcome, yourusernamehere) at the top of the page.

NSFW material can’t be posted in the forum. You might have noticed when the link to your username was broken. These are staff’s rules, and the deletion was staff’s doing, not mine.

My blog has been reported as Mature many times, often by immature people who are attempting to shoot the messenger.

Also, promotional posts which ARE permitted (which does not include blogs staff has decided are for Mature audiences) are supposed to go in the Showcase forum, not the Off Topic forum.
