Why were my posts deleted?

Where did my posts from February 2011 to October 2011 go? They are all gone.

As far as i can see all your posts are still in your archives. For February 2011 i see that ‘Surf Birds’ is one of the posts, and for October 2011 ‘Cape Perpetua Scenic Area’ is one of them for that month. I didn’t click through them all but they are all there as it has ‘newer entries’ and ‘older entires’ to click on.

Yes i did, i went through your entire calendar. I just mentioned those posts to prove to you that they are there. Perhaps it would be easier if you actually stated what months you believe are missing.

Have you actually checked your posts to see if they are all there, as your calendar widget may just be wrong. I went as far as 2010, but there’s only so much i can do unless you state what months you believe are missing. Then we can flag this for staff to take a look if need be.

Will you please place an Archives widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/ in the sidebar of the blog so we can check this quickly and easily?

Well, something’s not right as indicated by this image of the calendar on the Feb 27 date:
It should be <<Jan Mar>>, not <<Jan Oct>>

I added the archives widget. But I’ve already paged through my posts and can see that there are none for those months. I appreciate your help. I thought someone from WordPress could tell me if some posts had been lost from the database during that period. Actually, the more I think about it, I remember having a “dry spell” sometime in the last couple of years. Maybe that’s when it was. I just didn’t think it was for that long!

Staff can confirm whether or not there were posts between March 2011 and September 2011 that were deleted. I have flagged this thread for their attention.

According to our system, no posts existed between February 2011 and October 2011.
I don’t see any record of posts even being created during that time period.
Are you sure that you aren’t confusing this with another blog?
