why when i inserting image url in my post, it doesn't appear in home page?

    why when i inserting image URL in my post, it doesn’t appear in home page of my weblog?
    in my lost post i insert URL image it is OK if I go to the post page but when I come to home page the image doesn’t appear
    you can visit my weblog if you want to understand what is happening? I appreciate if you response

    Suburbia uses Featured images on the site’s homepage. Featured images have to be uploaded to your site. You can’t use the “insert by URL” option. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/

    Also note that for the theme you are using, the image has to be at least 350 wide and 248 height.
