Why widgets don't appear in the right order?

    I’m using the TwentyTen template.
    I used Appearance/Widgets to arrange these widgets to appear in this order from top to bottom in the Primary Widget Area: Recent Posts, Recent Comments, Categories, Archives, Calendar.
    However, when I select Read Blog all the widgets appear except Recent Posts. Why is this? Please advise. Many thanks!

    I’d also to ask how many widgets are allowed inside a Widget Area and a Footer Widget Area. Thanks again!

    It looks like you have no posts yet, and thus the Recent Posts widget (and others, related to posts) won’t appear.

    There is no limit for the number of widgets you can display on any given widget area, but you should probably not display too many, as it may “drown” your content.
