Why will my stats page not update?

    My stats page is not updating. I have tried restarting the computer and still only showing 1 view for today. I know this is not correct because I have heard from several people viewing today.

    Hi Marsha,

    I think I see the problem. It appears that the code that Jetpack adds to track stats has been “commented” out so it doesn’t run, which accounts for the surprising drop in your stats.

    It appears that in a text widget in one of your footer widget areas has an unclosed comment (which looks like <!-- ). That is causing the footer widgets to not appear correctly, nor your footer, as well.
