Why wont Embedded code work on wordpress.com?

  Hi.
  I have a wordpress.com site. I am trying to add code to it from external sites. This code includes things like galleries etc hosted on another site such as google. The code I tried to paste recently is:

  <iframe src=”http://mapsengine.google.com/map/embed?mid=zkDAlCnBMsps.kTwALxZssnOY” width=”640″ height=”480″></iframe>

  and when I place it on the page (even in text editor mode) nothing displays yet it states its the embedded code for the site.

  Any ideas?

  You cannot use that new Google engine maps. You have to use this one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-maps/
