Why won't featured content show in twenty fourteen?

  The featured content section in my twenty-fourteen theme isn’t showing anything on the actual webpage. I have two posts that I have tagged to show, and they won’t; this problem started when I changed the setting from Grid to Slider, then back again because Slider didn’t show anything. I’ve tried making them sticky and changing the tag setting-I don’t know what to do please help.

  I checked your site and found two featured contents on display. Have you got this solved?

  I have the same problem as crdec123. The pictures of the featured contents show on the front page, but the content doesn’t show below the images. Instead it says ‘Nothing found’. When you click on the images, it goes to the post. littleblowholecatering.com
  Any help appreciated!

  hafizr, yes I have it solved thank you very much. My homepage was on static, which is why that didn’t show up.

  newrealityseeker, so if it’s featured, it doesn’t show on the front page.

  OK – I’ve got the message now that you need to have one post that isn’t featured for anything to show up on the front page. Thanks for this!
