Why won't featured images display on Pages in Scrollider Express theme?

    Featured images won’t display on pages in Scrollider Express theme, despite the documentation on WordPress.com indicating this feature is built-in.

    The “About” page, for example, has Featured Image functionality available from the edit interface/dashboard. It will allow me to set a featured image, however, when I view the blog, no image is visible.

    WordPress.com support states that this paid premium theme has this functionality, which is one reason I purchased it. See this link:

    565 x 180 on single posts AND PAGES as well as for sticky posts in the blog.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I understand that you are frustrated with your lack of progress thus far in the Premium Themes forum, however they are still the folks who will be able to provide the answer for you.

    I’ve reached out to them to make sure that they are on top of things. They should be getting back to you within the next couple of days with an answer one way or the other.

    Keep in mind also that your theme is fully refundable within the first 30 days of purchase. If you decide that you do not want it if it turns out that you cannot use the features that you thought you could, you can let us know and we can cancel it and provide a refund to you.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your response. I wasn’t sure, to be honest, if the forums were simply a volunteer community or part of the actual support staff. I didn’t want to request too much from people just donating their time. I’ll put my trust there but appreciate the nudge. Thanks for the info about the theme refund policy.

    Our general forums are indeed largely manned by volunteers (and nice of you to be concerned!), but the premium theme forums are almost entirely staffed by the authors of the themes themselves. Feel free to ask anything you’d like in there! :)
