Why wont images load?

  images wont load : they are .jpg, about 170KB They load on my blog at wordpress.org. I have enough room (way more than enough room to load these.) What I do: Click add media. The page says upload or drop-and-drag. If I attempt to do either the screen turns blue (normal). Then, if I drop-and-drag, I bring the picture over and drop it : BUT the picture wont upload – it returns to my computer file. If I “select files” Nothing Happens – the screen remains the same, asking me to drop-and-drag or upload. My computer: older mac os10.4.11 — HOWEVER, these load fine on my wordpress.org blog. Why Don’t My Images Load?

  Usually this is because there is some punctuation in the filename. Can you rename one of the images so it has no hyphens, underscores, etc? See if it works then.

  I did that and the same thing happened. What’s odd is that all the pictures load fine in my wordpress.org blog — but not in my wordpress.com. But thank you.
