Why won’t it show my page as a full page?

    Hi. I’m another newbie, here. Please help (in English since my “computereze” is not good).

    When I look at my blog, I click on “Page” and it only shows the information in the far left column of the main page. How do I get it to show the whole page?

    Also, how do I put a picture (such as a table from Word) on the page? When I tried to copy and paste, it put in the numbers but deleted all the grid lines for my calandar! Not helpful.

    It’s the template you’re using; Fjords is designed so that the content will only show in the first column. You could possibly change it by purchasing the styling upgrade (CSS), but it’d be easier just to switch to another template. Something like Cutline or Misty Look is popular and doesn’t have that problem.

    You can post a picture either though the upload tab or through the picture button; you just select it, hit upload and place the picture where you want it. Tables I’m not so sure about, but if you’re posting from Word, try using the Paste from Word button; it’s on the second line in your editor, it might help. Here’s how a few people have done it as well. I hope that helps. :)

    (2) Tables can be uploaded as images and in some cases this is the solution.

    Thanks! I switched the template, as you suggested, and it worked much better. I am still trying to figure out the rest.

    You might like to link your blog to your username so others trying to help you can actually do a better job of offering assistance. We all have two profiles at wordpress.com. One on our blogs and one here in the forum.

    Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog -> Users -> Profile
    In the right hand column locate “Website” and type in the link to your wordpresss.com blog example: http://myblog.wordpress.com

    Linking your username to your wp.com blog in the forum
    (1) Go up to the top right hand corner of this forum page and look for “Welcome,julierydbergcompassmath ! View your profile” and click “View your profile”.

    (2) Next click “edit this information”.

    (3) Complete the fields being sure that where it says website that you enter http://insertyourblognamehere.wordpress.com (no period at the end or the link won’t work)

    (4) Once you’re done click “Update Profile”. Voila! Now every time you sign into the forum we can click on your username and your blog will be linked to it.

    (5) Also note that there is a complete record of every post that you make to the forum on your forum profile page. Everyone in the forum can access it by simply clicking on “Member” next to your username. :)

    When you link your username to your blog we be able to see which theme you have selected and be able to give you better advice.
