Why wont it show on large

Ive just noticed that the following video plays ok on the BBC website on full screen (Same way ie small to start with but can be enlarged on their site) yet on my own when I try to enlarge it, you lose half the vid – Ive also known it on my others – why?

Hi. I’m unable to verify the behaviour because the BBC videos in question are blocked in my area (Canada). If I understand correctly, when you click on the full-screen icon (on the bottom right corner of the video), it is not full screen?
Hopefully a volunteer who can actually see the video would have a better idea.
