Why won't my Amazon.com images show any more?

Are you adding html to a text widget or post body? If so, first thing to check is that the html should not contain one of those restricted tags listed in the Code support document.

Perhaps WPcom is enforcing its policy on not permitting image links in affiliate advertising. http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/

Hi there,

I just did a quick test on my own site using Amazon’s affiliate images and they showed up just fine. I did notice that when I initially clicked publish, nothing showed up however (this is when I used their “Link to this page” tool and resulting code). However once I went to my home page, there was the image and link, working normally.

If your site is still not working quite right, let me know in what way. What is a link to a page which you embedded an image that isn’t working, so I can take a look please!

Hi Ash, thanks for the clarification.

Note that the images that appear in the post referenced by the OP in that thread have since been updated with images uploaded to WPcom.
