Why won't my blog fully import?

  I am attempting to import another WordPress blog into this URL. It worked once, but I had to delete the imported content and start over. Now whenever I try to import the other content, it only partially imports it, leaving out several pages. Maybe deleting all the current content on the site will help with the import, but I’m not sure.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Elisse, I’m sorry it hasn’t been working for you. Can you upload the file that you want to import to the Media Library? I’ll try to run the import myself and see if I can tell what’s going wrong.

  Ian,

  It’s a .xml file so it cannot be uploaded to the media library.

  You’re right, that was my mistake. I was able to recover the previously imported file and re-run it, though.

  It didn’t work the first time because the posts and pages from the previous import were still in the Trash folder, but once I permanently deleted them, the posts showed up again after the import finished.

  It looks like there might be the same number of posts and pages as the previous import, though. Can you check if some of the content is still missing? If it is, can you give me some examples of what’s missing so that I can inspect the import file for them?
