Why won't my email forwarding work?

    I set up an email forwarding for my domain. I received the confirmation and activation email. I hit the confirmation button and the domain page told me that my email forwarding was active.

    Then, I sent an email to my domain email address “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” to see if it would forward to “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” the way that I set it up.

    This is listed in the active email forwards:
    Active Email Forwards

    (email visible only to moderators and staff) forwards to (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    But I have sent two email to the somekindofclever.com address and I am not receiving them in my gmail inbox.

    Hi there,

    Our email forwarder requires a DNS record to be in place for it to work. When you set up your forwarder, our system automatically created that DNS record, however it does take some time for the record to propagate throughout the Internet. It may be that it hadn’t yet had a chance to when you were testing those messages.

    Of course there may also be something wrong! Let’s hope not.

    To start things off with testing, I’ve sent you an email to your address that you set up. Would you let me know if you got it in your gmail account? If not, let me know right here.
