why won’t my favicon change?
-
I have been trying to change my favicon for quite some time now. Although my blavatar/gravatars are set to the picture I want(a closeup of a pecan pie) the favicon still shows up as the old picture(a headshot) Any clue as to what is wrong?
thanks,

I see the wordpress icon favicon and not your blavatar and I know that it takes time for these changes to propagate throughout the internet. How long ago did you change it please?

I am seeing the blue generic gravatar icon in the spot where blavatar appears in the upper browser bar nest to the blog’s URL

I see the pecan pie, and it’s making me hungry. :)
I was able to see the new favicon because I’ve never visited this blog before, but you’re seeing the old favicon because it’s still cached by your browser.
Unfortunately, some browsers can cache favicons indefinitely, and you’ll need to consult their documentation or support forums for instructions on how to clear them.
