Why won't my images show up on the home page

Hi there! I just posted a new blog, and for some reason the 3 slots that are generally automatically filled photos on the home page are blank. I pulled some of the photos from my media library (originally on other posts) and I uploaded the rest from my desktop, like I usually do. When I go into Media, only the two images I uploaded today from my desktop appear, and they do appear to “belong” to the correct post. I’m not really sure how it fix it! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I can definitely look into this for you!
It does sound as if the upload to your Media Library failed. You’ll need those images in the library in order for the three ‘thumbnail’ images to appear properly on your front page.
I see that the first image in the post is:
https://allpurposeandsemisweet.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/unnamed-56.jpgBut it’s missing from your Media Library.
Could you do an experiment and re-upload that first image? After you upload, make sure it’s installed properly on your post. It might have to be deleted/re-added.
This very well could be an anomaly that took place during the upload process. I’d like to test that by having you try to correct just one of the images in your most recent post.
