Why Won't My Media Stay In The Order I Put Them In My Slideshow?

    I’m doing a slideshow for one of my pages. However, I put the media in the order I want it but it doesn’t stay in the order I put it in. Please keep in mind its linked to my attachment page but the box where you check for random order is unchecked. I’ve tried everything I know. I hope you can help me. This is for WELCOME TO CRYSTAL’S SITE(ORIGINALLY COUNTRY LIVING) . The link I’m editing is in my pages. It’s called Awards. The link is: AWARDS . Like I said it’s in pages under published. I will be doing a post called Awards but will keep it in draft until this issue is solved. Hope this helps.

    Hi there,

    When you choose the Gallery slideshow, it doesn’t matter what you select in the “Link to” box.

    If you need to rearrange your photos, open the post/page to edit it and click on the slideshow so that the pencil icon appears. Click it.

    That will open the Edit Media window and at the top of that screen you’ll see two tabs PREVIEW and EDIT.

    Click EDIT and drag your images to rearrange them in the order that you want them to appear.

    When you are done, click the UPDATE button and then click the Update button again to resave your post or page.
