Why won't my new username show up in a Google search?

    Dear sir or ma’am,
    I hope this message finds you well. I’m hoping that you might be able to help me with a small matter.
    I recently changed my username from freezefire to prosecoloredlookingglass since I felt like changing my blog’s URL. However, when I typed in “prosecoloredlookingglass” into a Google search engine to see if I’d be able to find my WordPress page with the new URL name, there were no results for my page. Only slightly related concepts. Is my page still properly registered on WordPress after the name change?

    Why should Google care?

    Your last post for freezefire was Jan 2011, Google last crawled your latest Post on May 22, 2013, why? you have no new content so Google & other search engines put your site on a slow crawl.

    Not much will change until you add new content, then search engines will start to reindex the new name then I would think it would take the standard 4 to 6 weeks for the new name to be indexed, IF you keep having new content.
