Why won't my pics upload into my blog?

I’m able to download pics into my wordpress media file, but the side bar seems frozen. I can’t change the size from full size to anything else. It’s not responding. And when I click on “upload to blog” or whatever it says, nothing happens. I’ve been doing this for months but suddenly today when I really have to post, it’s not working. The only thing I’m doing differently is using Mozilla Firefox rather than Chrome. But it is the latest version and I have cleared my cache several times. Please help
