Why Won’t My Pictures Show Up?!

I recently published a new posts and the pictures aren’t showing up. I adjusted their size within the post, but nothing changes. The files are visible when I edit the post as well as in my media library. I have tried viewing the page with Safari and Windows Explorer, but neither work.
Any suggestions?

Quick question did you upload the photos from your computer or did you link to the images from another website ?

I am having a similar problem with my images. Basically, many of my images never load. When I click on a specific post, none of the images load. When viewing the entire blog, scattered images do not appear. I have tried changing the size of the images but that hasn’t made any difference. The images are uploaded from my computer.

I can see all the images on your front page. If you don’t have a fast connection, the browser times out because you’ve got too many large files. Your img.9292, for instance, is 4272×2848 px, 3.5MB in size; the wine glass in your latest post is 2.5MB. What’s the use of uploading a 4000px wide image when you’re only displaying a 100 or 200px version of it? You’re just wasting storing space plus you get the “many of my images never load” effect. You should make copies of your images, downsize them in an image editing application to the size you really need in the posts, and upload those copies (you also get better image quality this way: images downsized by the wp uploader lose some color and sharpness).
