why won't my video posts all appear in my video menu?

  I’ve just discovered different format posts and tried experimenting with putting a videos format menu in.
  But only 2 of my (however many) videos appear when you click on the video menu on my blog.
  Why?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,
  I don’t find a video menu on the site https://ateamjapan.wordpress.com/. Where is it? Are you referring to the type: video archives page https://ateamjapan.wordpress.com/type/video/?

  There are currently 2 in the Videos page if you click the Video link in the menu at the top:
  https://ateamjapan.wordpress.com/type/video/

  But I have more video posts which you can find by clicking the video tag from the tag cloud to the right.

  Hero theme no longer supports Video post formats. This is the reason I think the rest of the videos are not displayed.

  I worked around this by

  a. Temporarily switch from Hero theme to another theme that supports video post format,

  b. From the Edit Post screen, set the post format to Video.

  c. Switch back to Hero theme.

  d. Go to Video menu to find all video posts.

  Mine was a test blog so it isn’t a big deal to switch theme just for testing. But you may have to spend a bit more time to ensure your menus etc. are not broken while you switch back and forth to Hero.

  When I first visited your type “video” archives page, via the “video” tab in your header menu, I found precisely one video. I still find exactly one video at https://ateamjapan.wordpress.com/type/video/. The tag “video” archives page, https://ateamjapan.wordpress.com/tag/video/, contains the same single video. What am I missing, or misunderstanding?

  When I first visited your type “video” archives page, via the “video” tab in your header menu, I found precisely one video.

  That was correct previously. But @ateamjapan fixed it following my instructions above.

  I still find exactly one video at https://ateamjapan.wordpress.com/type/video/.

  @ateamjapan has only one post per page. Click on Older posts button at the end of the post to see more video posts.

  Few days ago more videos were not shown even if we clicked Older posts button. Hence this thread. Now it is fixed.
